Jerry was a Vietnam-era vet who became 100% disabled from his time in the service. He had his first service dog trained by ASAS, Harley, around 2010 and as Harley aged, he was replace by Butkus, also from ASAS, and finally with Valhalla up until Jerry’s death in June 2025. His service dogs were an extension of himself and he loved them all dearly. They gave him the ability to have a close to normal life.
