In Loving Memory of Jacobson’s Princess Raven
April 26, 2025 | 0830 Hours
Today, with heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Jacobson’s Princess Raven, our faithful companion, beloved fur baby, and trusted service dog for over 15 extraordinary years.
Princess Raven was not just a pet; she was a true member of our family, a proud graduate of Mesa Community College, Arizona State University, ASU Watts College of Public Service & Community Solutions and a distinguished member of ASU Barrett, The Honors College. She was deeply loved and cherished by her grandparents, Douglas and Harriet Aguirre, who saw her as both a child and a grandchild.
More than anything, Princess Raven was my battle buddy — standing by my side through the most difficult chapters of my life, helping me face the challenges of PTSD and the injuries I sustained while serving on duty. Her loyalty, love, and quiet strength were constant reminders that I was never alone.
She loved meeting new friends wherever she went, always greeting people with a gentle spirit and boundless affection. Her favorite, without a doubt, was Sparky the Sun Devil, who could always light up her day.
Surrounded by her loved ones at her passing, Princess Raven leaves behind a legacy of service, resilience, and unconditional love.
Run free, Princess, and have fun playing with your brother, Brown Bear — you will always be our shining light.
